Activities
Activities through the Chimes Junior Honorary Society are focused around the three pillars of scholarship, leadership, and service. Chimes committees plan the programming for the organization throughout the year. Our largest project during the year is planning and hosting the Family of the Year recognition ceremony.
2021 K-State Family of the Year
The Buylefamily has been selected as the Family of the Year by Chimes, which sponsors the annual competition!
The annual Family of the Year competition recognizes a family that has shown great dedication to the K-State community and Wildcat family. Selected by a committee, the Family of the Year is hosted for special activities during K-State Family Day.
If you have questions about the Family of the Year, the selections process, or would like to nominate your family for the 2022 K-State Family of the Year, please contact Brianna Streeter or Kristen Hammes
Family of the Year:
Every year, Chimes honors a Family of the Year with a brunch, speaker, and presentation for Family Day at K-State. The 2021 Family of the Year is the Buyle family.
