Liabilities

Before you can dance, we require our members to sign a liabilities form, with dues being paid on the next meeting if they wish to continue. Why is that important? As fun as Country Dance is, it does not come without risk. As we go along in lessons, we will be teaching moves that can cause injury if done improperly without taking appropriate precautions, arial moves being a chief example. That is the big reason why we require those two conditions from our members at that point: it helps us keep track who has signed, and who has not. When you come to sign the liabilities form, it will require information such as your name, (optional) any medical history we need to know about, (optional) health insurance provider, medical authorization, and release of liability. Although we encourage people to come, whether you are going to be here for the long haul each semester or not, please make sure we have your liabilities form and dues on file. Thank you.
