Oregon State Penitentiary Tournament (British Parliamentary)
This is a tournament hosted inside the prison by the Toastmasters Club. K-State British Parliamentary Squad debaters Richard "Trey" Peat and Kelsey Gooden competed against teams from universities across the country and teams of inmates. At its best, debate is vehicle for engaging with people who have different life perspectives, and this was debate at its best. Also, Trey finished as the Third Place Speaker at the tournament!
