2024 Docent Tour Guide Training
K-State Gardens needs volunteers to be garden docent tour guides. Training consists of three 1:30 - 3:00 p.m. sessions on Wednesdays in March and April in the Gardens Visitor Center Conference Room. The only qualifications necessary are an interest in the Gardens and a willingness to help.
1) March 27-Covers garden history and layout
2) April 3 - Covers specialty gardens, collections, and south garden tour
3) April 10 - Covers interpretation, experienced tour leader panel, practice tour
