K-State Core for Students

Courses

Each student attending K-State must fulfill the requirements as set out by the Kansas Board of Regents. See each section for a list of possible courses.

Transfer Agreements

The Kansas Board of Regents has adopted core curriculum for common transfer programs. Students interested in these programs should follow their specific core plan when planning their general education semesters.

Elementary Education Transfer Courses

Navigating the transfer process requires careful and strategic planning. At K-State, we recognize the significance of careful planning needed to ensure a seamless transition that empowers transfer students to maximize their academic achievements. Transfer pathways are a quick way to see how classes transfer into a given major at K-State from another institution.

Kansas State University offers academic credit for prior learning and advanced credit. Some Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, or other course equivalencies may transfer into the K-State Core.
