Wheat Genetics Resource Center field day today
Join faculty and staff of the Wheat Genetics Resource Center for the annual field day at Rocky Ford Experiment Station, 1621 Barnes Road. The tour begins at 10 a.m. Friday, May 18, and vans will depart the Throckmorton loading area at 9:45 a.m. if you need transport.
We will discuss wheat relatives, genome designations, wheat streak mosaic, leaf rust, wheat scab, germ plasm selection for improvement, and demonstrations of UAV usage for phenotyping. We will start on the south side of Barnes Road at the experiment station.
