Last Movies on the Grass free film at Sunset Zoo Sunday, Sept. 22

Submitted by Charlene Brownson

The final Movies on the Grass film of the series, "RiverBlue," will show at 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22, at Sunset Zoo, 2333 Oak St. Free admission to the zoo starts at 5 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend.

"Can fashion save the planet? Through awareness, we evolve. Following international river conservationist Mark Angelo, 'RiverBlue' spans the globe to infiltrate one of the world’s most pollutive industries, fashion. Narrated by clean water supporter Jason Priestley, this groundbreaking documentary examines the destruction of our rivers, its effect on humanity, and the solutions that inspire hope for a sustainable future" — from the RiverBlue website.

Emily Pascoe, graduate teaching assistant in the apparel, textiles, and interior design department, will introduce the film and lead the film discussion.
