Collegian Media Group takes top honors
Kansas Collegiate Media group's spring convention was canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but state awards were announced April 9 and 10.
The Kansas State Collegian, the 2019 Royal Purple yearbook and Manhappenin' magazine all named Gold All-Kansas publications, the highest recognition given by the Kansas Collegiate Media association.
In Friday's announcement, students in the Collegian Media Group also brought home 29 top individual awards, and Kaylie McLaughlin, junior in journalism and editor-in-chief of the Collegian, was named the Kansas College Journalist of the year.
