International Buddies accepting fall 2020 applications
International Buddies is a program that assists international students with their transition to Manhattan by matching them with domestic students.
International Buddies gives participants an opportunity to learn about other languages and cultures, improve their English-speaking skills for those not from a native English speaking country, and make lasting friendships. You can gain valuable volunteer experience by casually meeting with your buddies a few times a month! Each group will consist of approximately four buddies.
If you are interested in becoming involved with International Buddies for the fall 2020 semester, please click the appropriate link below — whether you are a local or international student. The survey should take no more than five to seven minutes, and the information you provide will help match you with peer buddies who share similar interests.
This semester will look very different for International Buddies, but we are still committed to connecting students from all of the world, and we have many fun large group activities planned! We plan on matching groups firstly if they would like to meet all online, both online or in-person, or primarily in-person.
The deadline for application submissions is Aug. 31.
