Spring success with Academic Achievement Center support
Academic Achievement Center resources to support students for the spring 2021 semester.
Academic Coaching

The AAC Learning Lab will open on Feb. 1. The Learning Lab will be open 10 a.m. to noon Mondays and Thursdays and 1:30-3:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Students can request an Academic Coaching appointment in the Learning Lab today.

The AAC's Academic Success Tools are free and accessible to support students as they work through a variety of academic challenges. Each Academic Success Tool comes with directions for use. If students need support, encourage them to request an academic coach to discover how to implement a new tool.
Tutoring Services

Appointment tutoring will start on Feb. 1. Appointments can be scheduled for both in-person and virtual sessions for a wide variety of courses. Check course offerings and schedule an appointment on the tutoring website.

Drop-in tutoring will open on Feb. 8. Drop-in tutoring will be available in-person at Holtz Hall, Kramer Dining Center and the Morris Family Multicultural Student Center. Drop-in tutoring is on-demand help in popular courses — biology, chemistry, math and physics. Check drop-in schedules on the tutoring website.
Office of First-generation Students
The Office of First-generation Students supports students who will be the first in their family to graduate from a four-year college by connecting them to campus resources, coordinating efforts across the university to serve them and fostering a first-generation community. First-generation students can get involved by:

Head to the first-gen student lounge in Holtz Hall for a place to study or hang out with friends.
