Goins featured in exclusive interview for jazz magazine

Goins profile

Wayne Goins, university distinguished professor of music, was the focus of an in-depth, exclusive interview in the April issue of Jazz Guitar Life, a highly popular online jazz guitar journal that features the most prominent artists in the world.

Journal editor Lyle Robinson interviewed Goins while also announcing him as the newest contributor to the magazine. Goins will be submitting a wide variety of pieces, including exclusive jazz artist profiles, CD reviews, podcast interviews and feature articles related to jazz recordings on vinyl.

Faculty in the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance have received Grammy awards and nominations, and Emmy awards; produced recordings on international and national CD labels and published books and journal articles with international and national publishing houses and professional organizations; and performed and presented research in every continent in the world, except Antarctica.
