Free screening of 'Freedom Writers' in Forum Hall, Monday, Nov. 14
Please join us at 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, in Forum Hall at the K-State Student Union for a free screening of "Freedom Writers" as part of the 2022 KSUnite DEIB Conference, "A Journey to Justice: Bridging Distances and Differences."
The film will be followed by a discussion and Q&A session hosted by one of the stars of the film and our conference keynote luncheon speaker, April Hernandez Castillo. Castillo will offer insights into the message and meaning of the film and will also be available for a book signing at the end of the evening. Several copies of Castillo's autobiographical book "Embracing Me: A Memoir" will be raffled to those in attendance.
