Former NBA player Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf to speak at K-State Feb. 27
The Muslim Student Association, in collaboration with the Black Student Union, has invited former NBA player and activist Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf to speak on campus Monday, Feb. 27.
Abdul-Rauf was drafted third overall in the 1990 NBA Draft by the Denver Nuggets. He made headlines during the 1995-1996 season for his stance on injustice.
Mahmoud will share his story at K-State at 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 27, in Forum Hall, K-State Student Union. All are invited to come and listen to his impactful story.
