Remembering Be Stoney
BeEtta "Be" Stoney, associate professor in the College of Education who served most recently as K-State's interim chief diversity and inclusion officer, died Sept. 5.
A visitation will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, at Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home. Her memorial service is immediately following at 3 p.m.
An accomplished student-athlete, Stoney was passionate about education and athletics. She was inducted into the University of Texas Hall of Fame in 2010 for her exceptional basketball career and served as K-State's faculty athletics representative from 2010-2023.
