Black Faculty and Staff Alliance to host Boyer/Switzer Lecture and Welcome Back Social
Join the K-State Black Faculty and Staff Alliance for the annual Boyer/Switzer Lecture Series and Welcome Back Social. This event will take place at 4 p.m. CST Tuesday, Sept. 26, in the Leadership Studies Building Town Hall, Room 114, or via Zoom. There will be cake, coffee and community.
The lecture will feature Bernard Harris, retired U.S. Army lieutenant colonel and K-State alumnus, as he discusses "Resistance to Power." His talk will look at the lives of seven African American civilians growing up in segregated America who became members of a rare group of African American U.S. Army officers in World War I.
