Coffee Collab to demonstrate VoiceThread presentation tool for instructors Nov. 7
College of Arts and Sciences faculty and staff — especially instructors of all kinds — are invited to Coffee Collab from 10-11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7, in 307 Hale Library. Join in this demonstration and discussion of VoiceThread, a presentation and storytelling tool that integrates with Canvas.
Reimagine your instructor presence while elevating student success and engagement. See how VoiceThread transforms PowerPoint slides, videos, images, voice, text and drawings into interactive collaborations.
Modern languages instructors have had great success using VoiceThread to create innovative and engaging online courses. The department invites other faculty members to participate in its pilot license agreement during the spring 2024 semester to determine if there is sufficient demand to invest in the product. The pilot program includes full Canvas integration for an unlimited number of accounts and the Platinum service with unlimited auto-captioning and Zoom integration for an accessible, multimodal option.
Reservations are requested by Monday, Nov. 6.
