Two geology faculty receive teaching awards
Two faculty members in the geology department at K-State have received teaching awards, selected by members of the Geology Alumni Advisory Council Executive Committee.
Claudia Adam, associate professor of geology, has been named the 2024 recipient of the Page Twiss Graduate Teaching and Mentoring Award. Her students describe her as an amazing teacher and appreciate her ability to break down difficult concepts in ways that make them easier to understand.
Sabreen Gad, teaching associate professor of geology, has received the 2024 Geology Department Undergraduate Teaching and Mentoring Award. Her students describe her as caring and dedicated to ensuring their success in her classes.
