Economics department recognizes outstanding undergraduate students
The economics department recently recognized outstanding faculty, graduate students and undergraduate students at its annual honors banquet on April 26 at the Manhattan Country Club.
The following students were awarded undergraduate scholarships:
Rex Dale, Alyssa Dix, Alison Dragoo, Malik Freese, Ava Grace, William "Cooper" Hillman, Jacob Hofman, Madison Hunter, Delainey Isaacson, Michael Johnson, Max Kice, Korin Koening, Matias Larre, Alyssa Leonard, Avery Linton, Christian Lutz, Bryce Myers, Quinn O'Donnell, Ian O'Rourke, Michelle Olberding, Connor Powelke, Sofia Ramirez, Andrew Schwinn, Nicholas Shapiro, Sophie Simmons, Nick Thompson, Trace Ward, Aiden Werner, Marcus Washington and Judy Wiebe.
The department will award more than $50,000 in scholarships to its undergraduate students in the fall semester. The department also recognized the following outstanding graduating seniors with a special gift:
Liam Aumann, Nick Dusin, Peyton Froome, Ellie Johnson, Halley Jones, AJ Lenartowicz, Jack McGuire, Brian Owuoche and Emily Thornton.
