How to mobilize people to take on challenges and triumph in tough times will be the focus of the 14th annual K-State Leadership Seminar Wednesday, March 24.
The seminar, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the K-State Student Union, will explore what is called adaptive leadership. Adaptive leadership is about being able -- both individually and collectively -- to take on the gradual but meaningful process of adaptation.
Keynote speakers for the seminar are Kristin von Donop, principal with Cambridge Leadership Associates; Peter Cohen, dean and professor in the College of Health Professions, Wichita State University; and Ed O'Malley, president and CEO of the Kansas Leadership Center.
K-State President Kirk Schulz also will address participants at the luncheon, with K-State's Provost and Senior Vice President April Mason opening the seminar.
