MANHATTAN — Kansas State University Global Campus awarded more than 50 scholarships to students from across the country for the fall 2018 semester. The scholarships ranged from $600 to $1,500 each and totaled $62,500.
The fall 2018 semester marked the first semester that two new scholarships were awarded, the Kenneth and Leah Mae Bever KSU Foundation Family Scholarship and the Sue Maes and Dennis Hemmendinger KSU Foundation Family Scholarship. Both scholarships were created with the help of a matching fund program initiated by the KSU Foundation. Each scholarship awards $1,000 each fall to a student with a 3.0 grade point average. The scholarship is renewable the following spring, provided the student maintains at least a 3.0 GPA.
