Senior honor society Mortar Board selects 2019-2020 class
MANHATTAN — Mortar Board Senior Honor Society at Kansas State University has selected 30 new members to represent its 2019-2020 class.
The members must work to uphold the organization's ideals of leadership, scholarship and service on the university campus and in the Manhattan community.
The following students, who will be seniors in the 2019-2020 school year, are new members of Mortar Board:
Rebekah Cain, agricultural education, Allen; Gabrielle Phillips, chemical engineering and pre-medicine, Andover; Cameron Parr, finance, Benton; Shelby Foster, life sciences, Derby; and Michaela Hughes, agricultural communications and journalism, Ellinwood.
From Greater Kansas City: Olivia Rogers, political science, Gardner; Sahiba Grover, microbiology,Nicholas Kalny, architectural engineering, and Abigaile Molzer, anthropology, all from Lenexa; Alexis Abadayan, fine arts, and Trenton Kempker, computer science, both from Olathe; Jacob Leikam, entrepreneurship, Overland Park; andSiddarth Jambunathan, architecture, Shawnee.
From Hays: Jacob Balzer, industrial engineering; Jared Rack, life sciences; and Caitlyn White, mechanical engineering.
Shannon Bellamy, biological systems engineering, and Sarah Hansen, microbiology, both from Hutchinson.
From Manhattan: Lindsay Chassay, psychology; MacKenzie Gwinner, nutritional sciences; and Isis Thornton-Saunders, marketing.

Honorary member and Kansas State University alumna Amanda Cebula, instructor in the Staley School of Leadership Studies, serves as Mortar Board Senior Honor Society chapter advisor.
