MANHATTAN — The Peking Acrobats present their death-defying, family-friendly show at Kansas State University's McCain Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7.
For 32 years, The Peking Acrobats have redefined audience perceptions of Chinese acrobatics. They perform daring maneuvers atop a precarious pagoda of chairs and display their technical prowess in such arts as trick cycling, precision tumbling, juggling, somersaulting and gymnastics.
By pushing the limits of human ability, The Peking Acrobats defy gravity with amazing displays of contortion, flexibility and control. They are often accompanied by live musicians playing traditional Chinese instruments to create an event with the festive pageantry of a Chinese Carnival.
Tickets are available online at mccain.k-state.edu or at the ticket office in the McCain lobby from noon to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays. Tickets are also available by phone at 785-532-6428 during the same hours. Tickets are 50% off the public price for children 17 and younger.
