MANHATTAN — Kansas State University's 2024-2025 McCain Performance Series returns this fall with a full lineup of legendary musicians, remarkable Broadway musicals, dazzling entertainers and much more.

Season tickets go on sale Monday, June 3, with discounts from 10-20% for those who subscribe to seven or more events. To ensure priority seating, join the Friends of McCain and mail your donation and completed season ticket order by Friday, June 28. Friends of McCain members receive exclusive thank-you gifts, including invitations to meet the artists, free parking and access to the Director's Lounge before shows and at intermission. Benefits vary by donation level.

The series will include Broadway smash hits "THE BOOK OF MORMON," "Dear Evan Hansen," "STOMP" and "Menopause The Musical 2"; acclaimed blues/gospel/rock artists The Blind Boys of Alabama and Shemekia Copeland; celebrated country music attractions Blackberry Smoke, Aaron Watson and The Gatlin Brothers; vintage pop rockers The Righteous Brothers, Starship, Foghat, The Ozark Mountain Daredevils and The Pointer Sisters; jazz giants Kurt Elling and The Yellowjackets; and thrilling shows for the whole family, like "The Aluminum Show" and The Peking Acrobats.

The season also offers the return of two popular ensembles: Mannheim Steamroller Christmas by Chip Davis and the Mnozil Brass celebrating their 30th anniversary.

Comedy great Lewis Black will take the stage just in time for the election, while classical music fans will enjoy "The Mikado" performed by The New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players. The Academy of St Martin in the Fields will also perform with piano soloist and winner of the 2021 Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, Bruce Liu. The series will also feature plenty of dance attractions starting with MALEVO, a group specializing in the traditional Argentine folk-dance art form, Malambo, plus one of the most important and influential modern dance groups of the past 50 years, Paul Taylor Dance Company.

Two attractions with local flavor will appear. The Flint Hills Children's Choir will perform for the third time in the McCain Performance Series with special guests The Manhattan Youth Symphony and Bates Dance Studios. HYPROV: Improv Under Hypnosis will feature Jeff Hiller, Bridgett Everett's co-star in HBO's "Somebody Somewhere," in what is being billed as "The most interactive comedy show in the world."

Single tickets for "THE BOOK OF MORMON" will go on sale online at 10 a.m. Sunday, July 21. Single tickets for the remaining season will be available online at 10 a.m. Monday, July 22. In-person and phone sales will begin at noon Wednesday, July 24.
