MANHATTAN — The Righteous Brothers take their "Lovin' Feelin'" farewell tour to Kansas State University's McCain Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15 as part of the McCain Performance Series.
Bill Medley, an original member of the duo, has entertained audiences for more than 60 years. His iconic bass-baritone helped earn The Righteous Brothers their place in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
The "Lovin' Feelin'" farewell tour features Medley and new partner Bucky Heard, and it promises a captivating musical odyssey spanning from the early days of rock and roll to far-reaching hits as seen in the movie "Dirty Dancing." From heartwarming ballads to energetic rock anthems, every performance is a testament to the enduring power of The Righteous Brothers' music and their connection to fans across the globe.
The audience will take a journey through decades of timeless hits that have defined a generation, including "Unchained Melody," "(I've Had) The Time of My Life," "Soul and Inspiration," "Ebb Tide," "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'" and "Rock and Roll Heaven."
Tickets are available online at mccain.k-state.edu or at the ticket office in the McCain lobby from noon to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays or by phone at 785-532-6428 during the same hours. Tickets for youth 17 and younger are half price for this show. Discounted tickets to this show are also available for K-State faculty and staff, seniors age 62 and older, and members of the military. Original IDs will be required to obtain discounts — third-party, photocopied or web-based IDs are not accepted.
