College of Health and Human Sciences recognizes outstanding seniors

MANHATTAN — Kansas State University's College of Health and Human Sciences is recognizing its 2024 fall Outstanding Senior Award winners. This year's outstanding senior award winners were nominated by faculty and staff within each of their respective programs.
Chosen students have been engaged on campus and in their communities, volunteered their time to provide for others, served in leadership roles in local or national organizations, have dedicated themselves to advancing knowledge through research, or have overcome obstacles in life while working toward their college degrees.
The award winners are:
Alicia Whaley, early childhood education, Junction City; Jade De Matta-Romero, fashion studies, Tyson Lanter, personal financial planning, and Quin Vlach, personal financial planning, all from Kansas City; Emersyn Hall, communication sciences and disorders, LeRoy; Bailey Holland, kinesiology, and Jade Ratterman, human development and family science, both from Olathe; Leah Dean, integrative physiology, Stephanie Ruelas, human development and family science, Lynsey Shannon, public health, Sydney Stanton, kinesiology, and Ellie Zerrer, human development and family science, all from Overland Park; Abigail Russell, nutrition and health, Sabetha; and Amy Hernandez, early childhood education, Ulysses.
From out of state: Katelin Lindgard, dietetics, Kaaawa, Hawaii; Katelyn Levesque, personal financial planning, Boston, Massachusetts; Jamie Pak, kinesiology and nutrition and health, Arnold, Maryland; and Morgan Martens, dietetics, Wauseon, Ohio.
