MANHATTAN — The Kansas State University College of Business Administration has selected 25 students to join its College of Business Ambassadors program.

Ambassadors recruit prospective students and share their university experiences. They will assist with on- and off-campus recruitment events and represent the college and university at programs throughout the year.

Prior to being selected as part of the 49-member ambassador organization, the students had to successfully interview with current ambassadors and staff members with the college's office of student services. Bente Janda, director of student services, and Curtis Morisaki, recruitment coordinator, helped facilitate ambassador interviews and selection. Candidate applications were screened using a comprehensive matrix, with the top 48 being asked to speak about their Kansas State University experience and give a short presentation on how they would handle a prospective student tour.

"We are really excited to add these outstanding students to our ambassador program," Morisaki said. "They represent the best qualities of our students, and I am confident that they will be great ambassadors of both the College of Business Administration and the K-State brand as a whole."

The new College of Business Administration Ambassadors include:

Casey Sexton, sophomore in accounting and finance, Abilene; Jaclyn Sheets, sophomore in accounting, Belleville; Colin Barr, junior in finance, Buhler; Lucas Casenove, sophomore in accounting and finance, Goddard; Bonny Boultinghouse, freshman in management, and Morgan Gauby, sophomore in management, both from Great Bend.

From Greater Kansas City: Helen Dinkel, sophomore in marketing, Leawood; and Luke Burgett, sophomore in accounting and finance, Anna Emley, sophomore in finance, Hannah Johnson, sophomore in finance, and Kensey Smith, sophomore in management, all from Overland Park.

Brianna Zweimiller, freshman in management, Hartford; Ryan Haefke, freshman in finance, and Taylor Rahe, sophomore in marketing, both from Holton; Jaclyn Long, sophomore in management information systems, Lawrence; Lindsey Campbell, junior in marketing, Manhattan; Lily Dollarhide, freshman in management, Newton; Christian Stromgren, freshman in finance, Osage City; Mollie Hart, freshman in management, Paola; Bonnie Boos, sophomore in accounting, Salina; Jordan Korb, freshman in management, Valley Falls; Katie Baker, freshman in marketing, and Zachary Seeberger, sophomore in management information systems, both from Wamego; and Grace LeMaster, sophomore in entrepreneurship, and Ashley Wilmoth, freshman in accounting and marketing, both from Wichita.
