New initiative combines arts and sciences to study the prairie
Kansas State University will kick off its Prairie Studies Initiative with screenings ofthe "Great Plains: America's Living Wild" documentary series, followed by discussions. The first screening, "Water," will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 11 in 101 Bluemont Hall. The second screening, "Land," will be 6-8 p.m. in the UMB Theater at the Marianna Kistler Beach Museum of Art. Both screenings are free and the public is invited.
