MANHATTAN -- St. Patrick's Day at Kansas State University will feature a true taste of Ireland when the Celtic Tenors perform at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 15, in McCain Auditorium. The show, part of the McCain Performance Series, was originally scheduled for March 16.
The Celtic Tenors, composed of Daryl Simpson, James Nelson and Matthew Gilsenan, blend classical, folk, Irish and pop music. They are one of Ireland's most successful classical crossover groups. The group performed a Christmas show at McCain in December 2011, and are returning to mark St. Patrick's Day.
The Celtic Tenors are pioneering a new style that breaks the traditional mold of classical music, and use their unique voices, charm and wit to create an uplifting performance.
Tickets for this event cost from $14-$55, plus applicable taxes and fees, and can be purchased at the McCain Auditorium box office, by phone at 785-532-6428 or online at http://www.k-state.edu/mccain.
