MANHATTAN — Ahearn Field House will be filled with music when the Pride of Wildcat Land, the Kansas State University Marching Band, presents its annual concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30.
A $1 donation per attendee will be requested at the door.
"The marching band concert is a great chance for families of those in the band to come out and watch their relatives perform up close and personal," said Frank Tracz, director of bands at Kansas State University. "It's a fun time for both players and parents."
The band will perform music from halftime shows presented during football season, including the Fort Riley Day and Beatles Invasion shows.
Kappa Kappa Psi, the honorary band fraternity, and Tau Beta Sigma, the honorary band sorority, will sell marching band merchandise and gear at the concert. Items available include sweatshirts, pants, T-shirts, hats and hoodies. Orders for CDs and DVDs of the year's performances will be taken as well.
