"Hey," says Adam. "I was wondering - your Prairie Chicken Jerky - how do you get it so juicy?"

They look at him with interest, but don’t speak.

"Nick was saying it was teriyaki, some kind of teriyaki marinade. But that doesn’t seem right to me."

"Oh no," the first brother, Gustav, says.

"Not teriyaki," Dmitri Tutweiler says in horror.

"It’s Mongolian steak sauce," Gustav says. "From Mongolia."

"Plus a secret ingredient," Dmitri finishes, with great satisfaction.
