2:00 PM 206 Oak | Making the Grade: Assessment in the Music Classroom Dr. Phillip Payne This interactive session explores best practices for assessing music students in the classroom while aligning with state and district standards. We will reflect on current practices and reveal how music teachers are often the best assessors; we just do not document as well as our other colleagues. Resources will be provided to take with you into the music classroom! |

This session will explore strategies that focus on prioritizing your “oxygen mask” and how to advocate for the supports you need to enjoy a healthy and lasting career. |
