4th Annual Run for the Roses

Support the Gardens by running the fast and flat 5K course or walking the1K course. It's a lively event featuring the K-State band and twirl team, free face painter and ballon artist for the kids and 10,000 tulips in bloom.

New this year!

1. 5K race Military Discount is same rate as students $25.

2. 5K race Teams of Four or more are eligible to go down in history on a wall plaque in the Quinlan Visitors Center for fastest team in four categories: Fraternity, Sorority, Military (must wear fatigues and carry 25 lb. backpack), and other.

Race Rates

5K -- $35, $40 after 2/28, $45 after 4/19

5K --Student --$25 for ages 21 and under

1K -- $25, $30 after 4/19

Proceeds from the event will support K-State Garden projects such as: the Reflecting Pool, Conservatory, 150th Anniversary of the Gardens in 2025, etc.
