SAFE Zone Nurturing Spaces of Belonging for All.

SAFE Zone acknowledges the intersectionality across the human difference continuum by educating and fostering respect for multifaceted personal identities. SAFE Zone Allies utilize campus-wide and community resources to assure physical, emotional, and mental health safety measures and practices.

At Kansas State University we deeply value our Principles of Community. As such, SAFE Zone classes help to provide information and help hold the K-State community accountable to those standards.

Who are SAFE Zone Allies?

Allies can be any trained faculty, staff, student, or community member at Kansas State University and in the Manhattan area. People in various departments, majors, and fields across campus and Manhattan are encouraged to become a SAFE Zone Ally.
