Pre-packing Submission Process
In the case of pre-packing samples, please submit your samples using the attached form and contained in 96 well plate trays. Grey spots on the excel sheet indicate spaces for standards used during the analysis process. Write sample information only in white spaces in the excel sheet. Animal samples should weigh 1 to 3 mg. Plant samples should weigh 2 to 5 mg. Soil samples should weigh between 5 and 10 mg. Packed samples should have near consistent weights and be recorded to 0.001 mg.
Sample Shipping Process
1.Contact SIMSL about desired sample analysis
2. Pack and label bulk samples in tightly sealed containers.
3.Ship samples to Kansas State University, SIMSL, 23 Ackert Hall, Manhattan, KS 66506
4. Include return address for shipping back extra sample material if desired.
5. Upon sample arrival to SIMSL, you will receive an email confirming your sample's arrival
6. Payment invoice will be sent after sample analysis is completed
