Summer STEAM Virtual Academy
This academy focuses on providing quality STEAM learning opportunities to classrooms across Kansas and beyond. Our Academy teachers provide engaging content virtually, with on-site educators in the classrooms to assist in the lessons.
- Virtual Zoom sessions
- 2024 Dates: June 10 – 27, Monday – Thursday each week, 9am - 12pm CST
- Open to students in grades 5–8 during the current school year
- All classes require each student to have an iPad or digital device
Pricing Structure (Updated 3/4/2024):
Fees have been updated to $500 per classroom. This fee will cover one class per week for all 3 weeks of instruction. Reduced registration fees courtesy of the Rural Education Center (Kansas schools and individuals) and the Global Education Outreach Center (international). The new fee structure is:
- $100/classroom for Kansas schools and Individuals
- $300/classroom for International sites
- $500 for Out-of-State registration
Registration for School Districts is open now. Classes will fill up quickly and have limited space. Late enrollees are not guaranteed class choices. School districts registering classes will be contacted for more information once the school district is registered.
To enroll as an individual, please fill out all fields on the registration form except for School Name, School District, Principal Name, and Principal Email. Leave these fields blank. Individuals may register for 1, 2, or 3 weeks of instruction but the $100 fee will apply regardless.
