Register for Software Carpentry workshop on Unix Shell and Version Control with Git
Join K-State Libraries and the Agricultural Research Service from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Jan. 16 for a Software Carpentry workshop on Unix Shell and Version Control with Git. This free, in-person workshop will be held in Hale Library, Room 359. Registrants may attend the entire day or opt to attend only the Unix Shell workshop in the morning or the Git workshop in the afternoon.
Carpentries workshops develop fundamental data skills needed to conduct research. Its target audience is researchers with little to no prior computational experience, and its lessons are domain-specific, building on learners' existing knowledge to enable them to quickly apply skills to their own research. Participants will be encouraged to help one another and to apply what they learn.
Spots for this workshop are limited — those interested can sign up online and learn more about the content on the workshop webpage.
