Research Administrators Council meeting Jan. 14

Join the quarterly K-State Research Administrators Council meeting from 10:30 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Jan. 14, in Town Hall of the Leadership Studies Building.

Presenters:

• Hans Coetzee — Updates from the Office of the Vice President For Research, including the role and impact of research in achieving the Next-Gen K-State strategic plan imperatives and other current priorities/initiatives of the office. 
• Chris Brandt — Overview of the reimagined Kansas State University Research Foundation, including a discussion of what has changed, the vision moving forward, the new organizational chart with role definitions and the current state of innovation at K-State
• Rachelle Banwart — Office of Corporate Engagement introduction and overview

The planning committee will host all four meetings for 2025 in person. If possible, we will provide a Zoom link to join virtually but we encourage those who are in the area to attend in person if possible. We will continue to record the meetings as well for those unable to attend. 

In addition to the scheduled speakers, there will be updates from the Office of the Vice President for Research, the Office of Research Development and the Office of Sponsored Programs. A Zoom link will be sent out on the Research Administrator Council listserv. All members of the campus community are invited to attend, and anyone not on the listserv should contact Mollie Robbins-Wint at mollierobbins@k-state.edu for the link.
