Provost names search committee for dean of K-State Libraries

Jesse Perez Mendez, provost and executive vice president, has appointed the search committee to lead a national search for the university's next dean of K-State Libraries.
Chairing this committee will be Alysia Starkey, CEO and dean of K-State Salina. The university has engaged the services of Buffkin / Baker, an executive search firm, to support the search process.
Search committee members are:
- Alysia Starkey, committee chair, CEO and dean of K-State Salina.
- Lori Goetsch, emeritus dean of K-State Libraries.
- Susie Grier, president of Friends of the Library Board.
- Lotta Larson, professor of education and chair of University Library Committee.
- Michelle Turvey-Welch, associate professor and head of content development for K-State Libraries.
- Tara Coleman, professor and program services coordinator for K-State Libraries.
- Ryan Leimkuehler, associate professor and university archivist for K-State Libraries.
- Ashley Nietfeld, director of communications and marketing for K-State Libraries.
- Laura Bonella, professor and head of academic services for K-State Libraries.
- Mary Cain, professor and associate dean for research and graduate studies in the College of Arts and Sciences.
- Grant Chapman, associate provost for international programs.
- Denny Ryan, collections specialist for K-State Libraries.
- Oluyomibo Asunlegan, graduate student in leadership communication.
- Jolei Hertzel, undergraduate in biology.
- Evan Jones, senior director of development for the K-State Foundation.
