Landscape Architecture/Regional & Community Planning Colloquium Series hosts Ben Ward
Ben Ward, Kansas State University instructional designer, will present the Landscape Architecture/Regional & Community Planning Colloquium Series at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 25 in 106C Seaton Hall.
The lecture is "Play, Design, Game: Game design promises and provokes an opportunity for rapid, intense design and development. Come experience the ideas and the play behind the process. Are you ready for the challenge?"
As an instructional designer, technologist, educator and lifelong learning addict, Ward has developed and designed training programs, distance courses, face-to-face courses and instructional games.
He has collaborated with a wide range of faculty in the creation of online and face-to-face courses. Recent presentations include “5 Minutes of Fun with Ben Ward.”
Currently, Ward has taken his lifelong passion and love of games and applied it to 15 years of instructional game-design experience to offer a series of four-hour workshops on instructional game design for wide variety of audiences.
