Geography doctoral candidate wins paper presentation award
Bartosz Grudzinski, doctoral candidate in the geography department, placed first in the graduate student paper presentation competition at the recent West Lakes Regional Meeting of the Association of American Geographers in Eau Claire, Wis.
Grudzinski's paper, titled "Influence of grazing treatments on suspended sediment concentrations in the Flint Hills, Kansas," was based on his doctoral dissertation work being completed under the supervision of Melinda Daniels. In addition to being recognized at the meeting, Grudzinski received a cash award of $175.
