Start the semester off right in a relaxed study hall environment
Start the semester out right by spending two hours a day in a relaxed study hall environment. If you are between the ages of 18 and 40 and want to find out about your health while spending time in a relaxed study hall environment, this is the study for you.
We are currently recruiting people who:
- Don't do planned exercise on a regular basis (i.e., get less than 30 minutes a week of moderate-to-vigorous physical activity).
- Can spend 10 hours per week for eight weeks in a relaxing setting working on whatever they choose — this will be a flexible schedule and can be in the evenings or on weekends, too.
- Are between the ages of 18 and 40 years
- Want to find out about their health (body composition via DEXA, cholesterol and triglycerides, fasting glucose, lung function, inflammation levels, typical physical activity level, and time percent sedentary time.)
Please contact Brooke Cull, brooke1@k-state.edu, or Sara Rosenkranz, sararose@k-state.edu, for further information or to enroll.
