Joann Kouba received 2014 NACADA Region 7 Award for Excellence in Advising-Faculty Role

Joann Kouba, associate professor of animal sciences and industry, was named the NACADA Region 7 Award Recipient for Excellence in Advising-Faculty Role.
This award recognizes faculty who demonstrate qualities of effective advising and practices that distinguish them as outstanding in academic advising. Kouba will receive her award at the Region 7 annual conference in St. Louis, Mo., Feb. 20. This year's conference is titled "Gateway to Student Success: Sharing Best Advising Practices in the Midwest."
