Geography faculty candidate to present on the Yangtze River, China
Jida Wang, research assistant at the University of California, Los Angeles, will give a public lecture at 3:30 pm Thursday, Jan. 30, in the Big 12 Room of the K-State Union.
Wang's talk is titled "Lake Dynamics in the Yangtze River Basin Downstream of Three Gorges Dam Driven by Climatic Variability and Human Activities."
Wang is a candidate for the earth system science assistant professor position in the K-State geography department. His presentation is sponsored by the Beta Psi chapter of Gamma Theta Upsilon, the International Geography Honor Society, and the geography department.
