K-State United Way campaign to launch Oct. 28
Kansas State University is a can-do community. With United Way of Riley County, we can show how much we care about our neighbors. The 2011 Live United: K-State Cares About our Neighbors campaign will launch at the end of this month.
Last year, K-Staters gave more than $115,000 and won exciting prizes, including K-State Athletics merchandise and gift certificates to area businesses. We look forward to even greater contributions with the 2011 campaign.
If you are the United Way volunteer representing your department, college or office, please plan to pick up your campaign materials at the kick-off event Oct. 28. Volunteers, please contact Kathy Kugle, 2011 K-State United Way volunteer coordinator, for more kick-off information.
Amidst the frenzied pace of the fall semester, let us take a moment to ask, “Why Do You Live United?” When your department representative contacts you, please take a minute to complete your contribution form and make a difference. With United Way of Riley County, K-State CAN build a better future!
