K-State Proud Week: Get a photo taken, a cookie, a coffee and meet Willie
Show your purple pride and support for K-State students during K-State Proud Week, Feb. 24-28. The K-State Proud information table will be in the K-State Student Union from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. all week. Stop by to make a donation. With a donation of $20 you will receive this year’s Proud shirt. We hope to see you there.
The Proud information table will be behind the staircase on the main level at the Union. Events include:
- Tuesday: Check out the photo booth at the information table
- Wednesday: Get free Caribou Coffee with donation
- Thursday: Get a free cookie from the Bakery Science Club
- Friday: Come see Willie at the information table
Other fun events during the week include:
- UPC’s "Dancing with the K-State Stars" from 6-7:30 p.m. today, Feb. 25, in McCain Auditorium.
Donations will be accepted as students enter the event. - K-State Proud game at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 1, at Bramlage Coliseum. No donations will be accepted.
For 2014 an aggressive goal of $150,000 has been set in order to meet the growing needs of students in dire financial situations. Stop by to learn more about K-State Proud and help students in need by making a donation.
