Kansas State Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory Continuing Education Conference

The Kansas State Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory had its third annual continuing education conference for food animal veterinarians this month.
The featured speaker was Dr. Amelia Woolums from the University of Georgia. The topics presented included an update on bovine immunology, the latest information on vaccinating preweaning calves, and a discussion on autogenous vaccine use. Additionally, guidelines for using titers and serum-neutralization results to help diagnose bovine reproductive and respiratory disease were presented.
More than 125 veterinarians and veterinary students from three states attended.
