During the 2013-2014 school year, Kansas State University welcomed 2,113 international students representing 108 countries. More than 450 students enroll in the university's English language program and 97 percent of those students go on to academic work at K-State. The international programs office provides 164 scholarship opportunities totaling more than $400,000 to deserving students and close to 700 students study or participate in an international experience abroad.
The friends' organization understands the importance of providing an international education for all students, helping to ensure that they excel as leaders in a world that increasingly demands an understanding of other cultures and societies. Thanks to the support provided by our friends, the international programs office is better able to achieve the important task of preparing our students to be global citizens.
Join us Tuesday, April 15, at the Friends of International Programs banquet.
