K-State senior awarded fellowship for graduate study
Eric Fletcher, K-State senior in civil engineering, has been awarded the American Concrete Institute Richard D. Stehly Fellowship for the 2014-2015 academic year. He will use the $7,000 fellowship to study concrete-related research while pursing a master's degree.
Fletcher will complete his undergraduate studies in December 2014 and plans to enroll in the civil engineering graduate program in January 2015 where he will be advised by Hayder Rasheed, professor of civil engineering.
"I am very pleased to see Eric recognized with this prestigious fellowship," said Rasheed, who nominated Fletcher for the award. "He is a highly motivated student with a bright future ahead."
