Using Word to Write session today
The second Using Word to Write open session is from 3-6 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, at the west end of the K-State InfoCommons. Graduate students, faculty and other K-State writers who want to learn more about Microsoft Word are welcome to drop by any time during the session.
Everyone can get personalized solutions for their pesky Word problems. Graduate students can get help with their thesis, dissertation or report formatting. Faculty can learn how to create a personal writing template for specific needs.
Bring your questions, documents, and a laptop — optional — to learn about:
- Word timesavers like the Document Map, auto-updated fields and more
- Power tools, or styles, that easily make a change throughout your document
- Word solutions and troubleshooting tips
- Electronic theses, dissertations and reports writing templates with built-in timesaving features
Using Word to Write sessions are offered by the electronic theses, dissertations and reports consultants in the Information Technology Assistance Center. Questions and requests for more information can be sent to Betsy Edwards at betsy@k-state.edu.
