Mahoney awarded Fulbright grant for 2014-2015
Jon Mahoney, associate professor of philosophy, has been awarded a 10-month teaching/research Fulbright grant for the Kyrgyz Republic in Central Asia.
Mahoney’s research will focus on egalitarian liberalism and religious freedom. He will teach courses at International University of Central Asia, in Tokmok, Kyrgyzstan. There is an exchange agreement between K-State and the International University of Central Asia — an English language university — that permits students from each university to attend the other. This is Mahoney’s second Fulbright to the Kyrgyz Republic.
